Hello I'm Mirca!

From craft and client-facing work to brand, product and design management, my career has evolved across luxury, healthcare, interiors and e-mobility. Today, I work at the intersection of strategy, creative direction, organization and knowledge sharing.

This portfolio brings together selected work from that journey—from brand design and digital experiences to spatial concepts and my independent creative practice.

Guest Lecturer and Expert

Teaching engagements include design management, ideation, project development, and presentation at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (since 2024), in vocational education for Mediamatics (2017–2019), and at Tongji University, Shanghai (Jewelry Design, 2013).

Work Stations

Location Design Lead Switzerland / Fastned / Zurich: Led the Swiss architecture team for fast-charging locations, advancing interdisciplinary planning processes from site development through construction.

Head of Design & Marketing, Member of the Executive Management / Talsee AG / Hochdorf (Lucerne): Responsible for brand and design management at executive level, shaping strategic initiatives, customer experiences, and an interdisciplinary team.

Global Brand Manager / Phonak / Stäfa (Zurich): Developed global brand tools, guidelines, and training for consistent international implementation.

Founder & Creative Director / Mirca Maffi Creative Studio / Zurich: Created design concepts for brands and collections, as well as bespoke pieces for private clients, across jewelry, watches, and home accessories.

Marketing Manager / Meister Silber / Zurich: Managed events, PR, and media planning, while contributing to assortment development and executive support in the luxury tableware industry.

Silversmith & Product Designer / Jezler / Schaffhausen: Crafted silver objects using traditional silversmithing techniques, before later designing new product collections as a freelance collaborator.
